IMPULSE is a well-specified and much-cherished 2015 example of the exquisite Windy 29 Coho.

So, why should you buy one? Well, there are many facets to appreciate; here are just two:

a) The Coho’s bloodline is unequivocally thoroughbred. The hull follows exactly the athletic lines of the wonderful Windy 28 Ghibli, with some telling updates in the layout of her cockpit, especially in the ease of using the canopy system, and upgrades in the available power packages.

b) There is very little afloat today at this length that can match the Coho for sheer fun. They are vital little performers with 400HP on tap, boasting a very game gait, plenty of power in reserve, and the ability to carve their way through seas happily, keeping much bigger vessels tied up in the port.

We handed her over in 2015 from Berthon HQ in Lymington, UK, and from there, she sailed to her new homeport of Jersey. She has been handled and maintained carefully by experienced owners, and these hulls just sing when in an accommodating seaway, with the throttles opened. Running on the D6-400 engine, this Coho sparkles – reaching up to 42 knots when conditions allow. Her hull has been sprayed in Perlmausgrau (Storm Grey), which complements her charcoal Niroxx cockpit upholstery.
