Crafted by Windy from 2005 to 2011, the Windy 32 Grand Tornado emerged as a notable successor to the revered Tornado 31, setting a new standard in luxury cruising. While its predecessor targeted watersports enthusiasts with a pragmatic cockpit design, the 32 Grand Tornado took a different direction, catering to sun-seekers craving leisurely days on the water.
Following in the footsteps of its renowned counterparts like the Windy 34 Khamsin and the 28 Ghibli, the 32 Grand Tornado boasts a conventional sunbed-focused cockpit. Notably, it introduces an innovative electrically powered sliding seat-back, providing owners with the convenience of transforming the seating arrangement into a spacious sunbed or a combination of seating and a smaller sunbed at the touch of a button.
Measuring 9.72 meters in length, the Windy 32 Grand Tornado impresses enthusiasts with its remarkably versatile accommodation. Featuring a full-beam aft cabin and separate heads discreetly nestled away from the main saloon, the vessel exudes sophistication and adaptability. Its handling, characterized by exquisite precision and seamless manoeuvrability, promises robust performance even at higher speeds, while maintaining an impeccable sense of stability and balance underfoot.
The elongated cockpit serves as the perfect setting for leisurely days on the water, providing an ideal space for entertaining guests or indulging in recreational activities. Wraparound seating comfortably accommodates six, facilitating outdoor dining with ease. The large folding cockpit table can be adjusted to suit various settings, with the option to fold its leaves for space-saving purposes or stow it neatly under the port-side seat. This thoughtful layout enhances the overall cruising and entertainment experience aboard the Windy 32 Grand Tornado.
With its innovative features and meticulous design, in the 32 Grand Tornado, Windy have produced a luxury sports cruiser, offering versatility, performance, and comfort in equal measure.
