The Sagitta 35 is a classic sailing boat built by Springfield Marine in Essex. They have built a model that is highly appreciated by both cruising and racing sailors. These yachts are known for their elegant lines, which combine both aesthetics and functionality. With a length of 10.52 meters and a width of 3.08 meters, she offers sufficient space for comfortable sailing and overnight stays on board and remains a sought-after model among sailors who value tradition and performance.

Below deck, the Sagitta 35 offers a generous layout. From the bow to the stern, there is a nice sized Double V-birth, then heads, and lockers. The main saloon has two large seating areas which pull out to make large singles with Lee cloths. There is a teak centre table and a small single bunk above the port seating with a Lee cloth. The nav station is on the port side and the galley to the starboard side. To the rear of the nav station is a large single birth and sail storage area at the rear of the engine. There is sleeping space for up to six people, making the yacht ideal for families or small crews.

Overall, the Sagitta 35 is a timeless sailing boat that is appreciated for its excellent build quality, sophisticated sailing characteristics and classic style.

Owner’s Comments

We have owned PENTIMENTO since 1978, having fallen for her elegant lines and classic S&S design. Her solid and seakeeping performance makes for a boat that is easily handled by two, but with her large cockpit and good internal headroom she can comfortably accommodate six.

Early years of local racing in the Solent showed her competitive performance and in subsequent years she has covered much of the South Coast with regular extended cruising to the West Country.

A beautiful boat to look at, and a joy to sail.
