The Windy 48 Triton was built in Sweden and carries the same values as its Norwegian family: true Deep V hull design, timeless elegance, and careful, handcrafted detailing. Its sleek hardtop and stainless-steel doors, when closed, allow for both heating and air conditioning, accommodating all climates. The layout offers six berths in three well-sized cabins, with two heads/showers, including an ensuite in the forward cabin. You have the option to dine both below deck and in the main saloon/aft deck.

This stunning and powerful sports cruiser is powered by a pair of Volvo IPS 600 pod drives, each offering 435 horsepower. More importantly, it provides effortless handling, impressive fuel economy, and ultimate control when docking. The Dynamic Positioning System holds its position using GPS, giving you time to prepare lines and fenders and berth the vessel singlehandedly. If Joystick Docking is not enough, you also have the option to control the boat remotely via the Dockmate Twist remote. The deep-V, soft-riding hull is exceptionally tough, cutting through rough water with ease and giving you the confidence to do much more.

NAUTI BUOY was delivered to the UK in 2014 and was extensively specified from new. She is set up for extended cruising, with ample refrigeration and storage onboard. There is an upgraded generator and inverter to power all appliances while at anchor. The extensive specification includes a high-low bathing platform, hydraulic passerelle, heating, air-conditioning, demisters, sun pad cushions, dishwasher, oven, cockpit grill, 4-burner hob, icemaker, stereo system, satellite TV, full Raymarine package, and reversing camera. To put it simply, she is fully loaded.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a beautifully built and presented 50ft hard-top sports cruiser that punches well above its class. In terms of seakeeping, her Hans J. Johnsen hull is unparalleled, her Swedish construction by Windy Boats is exceptionally brilliant, and she is incredibly comfortable underway.

Owner’s Comments

I have owned a number of boats in the past both sail and power and spent 6 months researching prior to buying this Windy 48 from Berthon. My criteria list was quite long.

I wanted a boat that had an excellent pedigree and reputation for build quality and holding its value and that looked sharp, performed well in terms of ability to cut through the Solent chop but also had a decent turn of speed and still be economical.

I wanted her to have an almost new feel and been properly looked after from new with critically very low engine usage. Finally, I wanted to have 3 genuine double bedrooms for friends and family and to have some creature comforts like on board BBQ/TVs etc, plus a fully submersible bathing platform for sporty activities like launching dinghies/windsurfers/ e-foils for friends etc.

NAUTI BUOY had all of these, but I added some extra practical, but great fun bits of kit that finished her off and made my life so easy to use her single-handed – like the Dockmate, as well as the nav. screens and a top end music system throughout. Her street cred and practicality has been applauded by bystanders many times whilst mooring and tying up totally, alone – even in a high wind!

Sadly, with a new house on the water on the Isle of Wight, I do not really need such a large boat with 3 cabins and thus she is now ready to hand her over to her new Owners.
