A proper little ship which offers comfort, safe and fun super yacht ownership, she was made flesh in 1989 at the Cochrane Shipyard in the UK. Robustly built of steel with a twin engine and generator set up, she is a high aspect schooner rig for powerful passagemaking.
In her current ownership, and under the command of her current Captain she, has logged around 250,000 nautical miles, exploring the Mediterranean in detail and with voyages to the Pacific and Arctic Circle. TIGERLILY has cruised far and wide and is known to many for her distinctive good looks and schooner profile.
You can have a look at her on film above and below deck here:
She has a marvellous deck layout with large seating/sunbathing area just aft of the mainmast – which even has a jacuzzi. Aft, there is an enormous alfresco eating area shaded by a bimini.
Her interior is voluminous with a characterful deck saloon with room to lounge or eat and with great guest accommodation on the lower deck forward and midships. The interior is very traditional and quite charming with high gloss teak and painted bulkheads
The owners’ stateroom is forward and large, with an en-suite generous enough to have a bath! There are 2 further double guest cabins each with their own heads compartment and shower. There is also a comfortable upper and lower berth cabin which shares the day head on the lower deck close to the lower deck saloon which is a snug place to spend time, and there is a further stall shower for the use of this cabin as needed.
TIGERLILY has a galley on the lower and deck saloon deck as well as great crew mess and accommodation for 5 crew aft. They have separated access from the aft deck as well as access into the large and well laid out engine room.
TIGERLILY has been well loved –
• 2007 saw new Perkins Sabre main engine, new paint, teak decks and a rig refresh.
• 2017 she was in the UK for new paint, rig refresh and engine rebuild.
• 2019 saw new hydraulics and furlers and new boom paint.
She is fully crewed and looking the business. She has SCV2 classification and is the perfect conveyance for serious (and not so serious) family sailing or also for charter as you wish.
