The Solaris Power 48 Lobster features a hard top and is a modern motor cruiser inspired by the East Coast Lobster boats of the US, renowned for their all-weather capability. The Solaris Power team continues its collaboration with Norberto Ferretti, the founder of Ferretti Yachts, who manages the concept and product development. The 48 is a real head-turner with perfect proportions and a unique design that effortlessly oozes style. The Solaris Power team spends hours preparing the hull to achieve a mirror paint finish, available in colours of your choosing. Beautiful curves and details abound, and the clean lines are made possible by the flush deck wrapped around by tall and secure bulwarks.
The teardrop hull design by Brunello Acampora of Victory Design has been specifically crafted for the Volvo Penta IPS drive system, utilizing its benefits such as increased efficiency, noise reduction, internal space, dynamic positioning system, and manoeuvrability. Instead of being designed for top-end speed at the compromise of comfort and stability, the hull has been built to be efficient and stable at both displacement and planing speeds, with minimal vibration. The deep-V hull features a sharp entry point, with a long chine running above the waterline for stability. The result is truly impressive, with a cruising range of 310 nautical miles at 23 knots, burning just under 5 litres per nautical mile.
Along with offering a wide-ranging options list, Solaris Power understands the importance of clients tailoring their yachts to meet their preferences and lifestyle. You have the choice of two different saloon layouts: version A positions the galley aft with a large U-shaped seating, while version B has the galley running along the starboard side with a large L-shaped seating area. The 48 accommodates a maximum of five berths in two en-suite cabins and a crew cabin. The interior features a light and contemporary design in Oak as standard, with the option of either teak or walnut. The cockpit table comfortably seats six people and can be lowered to maximize sun lounging space, in addition to the sun deck and foredeck lounging areas. There is also a garage on board that can stow a 2.45m tender.
The Solaris Power 48 Lobster is not only about effortless style; it also incorporates functionality and capability to provide maximum comfort and deliver the lifestyle you want to lead.
