The new Solaris 55 features a distinctly modern hull, with a small chine running aft from the bow and dissipating into a rounded, broad stern to ensure optimal longitudinal trim. The deck layout reflects the latest innovations from the yard, combining a clean and functional design. The broad cockpit, with twin wheels set well outboard, enhances the overall sailing experience and facilitates manoeuvring in the harbour. The forward section of the cockpit creates a comfortable guest area, featuring two cockpit tables that form a central passage leading to the boat’s companionway. Additionally, windows on either side of the companionway increase natural light in the cabins and saloon, creating a brighter and more inviting interior.
Like her sistership, the new Solaris 55 features a hydraulically opening transom designed to store the dinghy with its outboard engine in a longitudinal position. The transom also includes integrated steps, moulded into the hull, providing convenient access to the bathing platform.
Underpinning every Solaris yacht, including the new 55, is an uncompromising approach to construction. The three composite main bulkheads are laminated and resin-bonded to both the hull and deck, ensuring structural integrity. Additionally, the yacht features a lead bulb and cast-iron keel, mounted with a coupling flange to the hull structure for enhanced durability and performance. The Solaris 55 embodies a perfect blend of innovation and traditional craftsmanship, born from great commitment and care to consistently ensure the owner’s safety and comfort.
Below deck, you will immediately notice the perfect symmetry, achieved through a meticulous analysis of space and light distribution. The traditional interior layout features a spacious forward owner’s suite, available in two configurations: one with a central bed and the other with an offset bed. The suite includes a bathroom with a large shower for added comfort. The saloon emphasizes brightness and symmetry, offering the option of a sofa or two large armchairs to suit the owner’s preferences. The portside L-shaped galley is fully customizable and can be equipped with every modern convenience.
The aft guest cabins each feature their own bathroom with a separate shower. Additionally, the forward sail locker can be converted into a crew cabin with an integrated bathroom for added versatility.
