This 2020 model Axopar 37 Sports Cabin is comprehensively specified. We note that it is fitted not only with useful bow and stern thrusters, but also with the incredibly dexterous Dockmate “Twist” remote control, which provides fingertip control even when away from the main throttles—so useful when utilizing the brilliantly clear side and aft decks of the Axopar design.

She is fitted with diamond-stitched Silvertex, which is in Bronze and in particularly decent shape. The punchy, normally aspirated twin Mercury Verado 300hp V8 outboard engines give her a top speed of 48 knots, with sensible economy and a decent range. Her twin-stepped deep-vee hull enjoys a 20-degree deadrise, allowing her to muscle through a confused sea without fuss and remain stable when at anchor or home in harbour.

The Axopar 37 has been one of the major success stories of global boating, and when you throw the throttles forward, you can understand why. This is an extremely smart blend of functional accommodation, truly workable decks, a great wheelhouse to afford protection (with a full-length powered roof and slide-opening deck doors), and excellent performance.
