Broker’s Comments

The Etap unites safety and comfort with excellent sailing characteristics. The unsinkable Etap 37s features a 9/10 rigging with double spreaders, and a partially battened mainsail with integrated mainsail cover and furling genoa. All sailing controls are led to the very spacious, ergonomic cockpit.

Below decks the beautiful cherry interior is well laid out and provides lots of open space for a yacht of this size. The forward-facing panoramic window accentuates this feature upon entering the saloon. To port of the companionway is the galley with the head located to starboard. Forward of the head is the full-sized navigator’s station. The balance of the compartment is occupied by dining and entertaining areas. Forward of the saloon is a private stateroom with a double berth. The owner’s stateroom is located aft of the galley.

ENSEMBLE is in excellent condition with the owners adding many new updates over the years.

Owner’s Comments

We bought ENSEMBLE from almost new in 2007. Her previous owner had never left the hard. As our first boat, she will always have a special place in our hearts. We have had many great times sailing her, initially in the Solent and Ireland and recently to Cherbourg, Brittany and the Channel Islands both with crew (she sleeps 8 at a pinch) and solo. I have always had complete confidence in her, she is a very forgiving boat. With the trademark double hull, she is reputedly unsinkable, a nice thought when you have missed the tidal window around Portland Bill.

ENSEMBLE truly offers the best of both worlds; she’s fast (I have reached 12 knots whilst cruising) and comfortable whether you’re cruising or racing, and she’s incredibly cosy and luxurious when moored in the marina, where the double hull also acts as sound insulation.

She is in great shape, with a new main sail, mast runners, cooker, anchor, windless, sprayhood, batteries, cockpit cover, engine etc she will take you, in comfort and safety, wherever you wish to go. Sold reluctantly due to illness.
