Broker’s Comments

In all-round excellent condition and enjoying only her second ownership from new, this 2015 Windy 29 Coho is powered by the superbly-balanced and ultra-reliable Volvo Penta D6/400 diesel. The hull was sprayed at the factory in PerlMaus grey, complimented by the carbon Silvertex upholstery, with complementing grey stitching.

With a superb passage-making ability and the magical combination of the epic Hans J Johnsen deep-vee hull profile, Windy Boats build and finish quality , and the single diesel to offer both low running costs and perfect balance at sea, the Coho is a tough cookie to beat.

Having supplied this vessel from new, and having had her berthed at Berthon during her present tenure, we are very pleased to be able to offer her for sale in both excellent condition, and at a competitive price-point for a UK VAT-paid 29.

She has been improved with a recent simulated teak deck throughout – which is in great condition and takes all the work out of cleaning and maintaining a “real” teak deck (especially the black rubber caulking when it goes soft…. If you know , you know….).

With low running hours and a Full Service History, she is in the water and ready for viewing.

Our first venture into motor yachting was with a Windy 25 Mirage; which was a great boat but once we got more familiar with the practicalities of what makes a great day / overnight boat, not to mention the looks, we realised that the 29 Coho would suit us much better & fortunately we had the opportunity at the start of the dark days of Covid to pick up this great, low hours example.

Since then we have very much enjoyed it from basic cruising, towing our kids on inflatables & wakeboards, not to mention lots of use of the sunpad in Totland Bay. Alas, life moves on, our kids are now off at University & so we use the boat less.

Hopefully someone else can get as much enjoyment from her as we have had.
