Broker’s Comments

The Windy 35 Mistral is a quite superb all-weather cruising powerboat. She shares a layout like her larger sister, featuring a comfortable U-shaped aft cockpit, a refrigerator, and a folding cockpit table. Forward at the helm console is a single helm bucket seat, with access between the navigator’s bench to the left. This setup provides three forward-facing seats, plenty of handholds, and a proper chart table on the dashboard.

Below decks, her cabins are fully outfitted with the highest quality materials, creating a cosy and classy feel. The forward cabin features a full double berth, while the fully equipped galley includes a diesel-fired hob, refrigerator, and sink, with plenty of storage available.

The heads/shower compartment is fitted with a holding tank and gauges, and the aft cabin, which includes a double berth, has a sliding privacy screen door, that opens to the main saloon.

She cruises comfortably in the mid-twenties and reaches a top speed in the mid-thirties, delivering reliable performance from her smooth twin KAD44 Volvos.

ELESSAR has been extremely well-maintained and her Owners have evidently cherished their time with her – ensuring that she feels far younger than her years, with up-to-date navigation equipment, A/V kit, new external cushions, covers and carpets throughout. She starts first time – on the button & runs well, has a delightful feel, and is very nicely presented, with numerous additions over the years.

We would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful example of her class!

Owner’s Comments

ELESSAR is our second Windy—the first being a wonderful 25 Mirage. We are absolutely in love with the brand and feel its seakeeping, stability, and quality of build are second to none. This has been proven again with the 35 Mistral, a boat we have absolutely loved owning. We have invested a significant amount of love and money into her!

She has never put a foot wrong and has taken us to some wonderful places along the Cornish Coast. Trish, my wife, is quite a nervous person on the sea, and I can honestly say this Windy has transformed her. I’ve been able to take her out in seas far rougher than I would have anticipated a few years ago, as the boat handles with such assuredness, reliability, and stability. It has given her trust and confidence, opening opportunities for us to travel much further together—even the Isles of Scilly are on the cards!

We will be very sad to see this boat go, but rest assured, we are staying with the Windy brand and are looking forward to our next adventure on the water.
